I love cous cous

Today we were in Sunderland (where we did not mention Southampton).

First we visited my cousin Eric and his family. His second son, Iain, with his new wife, Andini, and her 19 week bump are home from Hong Kong for a short stay . Then there was Dannielle and her two boys, Fraizer and Brodie plus another young nephew whom she cares for some days. It was a houseful of activity which Eric's wife Pauline loves.

The three boys had a lunch of corn on the cob, pieces of ham and cous cous. Starting them on a healthy diet from the beginning.

Brodie is 18 months old and full of confidence that he can do everything his older brother can do. He is a total charmer, just like his Daddy is was!

Then we went to a surprise 90th birthday party for Mum's friend Joyce. The moment when the ukulele orchestra started to play kazoos will live with me for a very long time!!

Then to see my cousin, Margaret, who is between courses of chemo at them moment.

A memorable day.
