The Get Well Soon Fairy

Today's plan was to bring you a 100th blip from the farm, quite possibly one of the new goats. That plan was modified due to the girl waking up with a temperature, sore throat and swollen glands so I've seen nothing more interesting than the top of her head and the ironing board today, with the occasional mini-trip into the garden with the macro lens. She is now fast asleep and keen to return to school tomorrow, and I'm looking at a stack of emergency blips (cat? check. Rain dropped flowers? check. Hairy wet flower buds? check. Lego? check etc).

Anyway, this is the emergency fairy, appliqued under the top right corner of a quilt I made for B in the spring of this year. She's a fairy who can help with ill health, inability to go to sleep, tooth-fairy and Santa directions and a million other important tasks. Today she has mainly been on the sofa with us, watching the kind of tv that defies description (and not in a good way). Once B got up to do her piano practice without any prompting whatsoever I knew she was on the mend.
