The Old Police Station.
This building in Regent's Street, Cambridge was once the local police station and lockup. It was built on the site of the workhouse, which after 1838 was used as the borough police station. That building was demolished in 1901 and replaced with this one. The constabulary then had a more modern place built on Parkside. I didn't realise until I looked closely that there is an open space on the roof. It has been a dull day and I took this shot on the way back from the hairdressers.
