A Nice Change

Hi Tom

I didn't do everything that was planned today. Monday is usually get up early, go to boot, do my run, go to fat club, clear up from the weekend, get the washing done etc, etc......today slightly different.

I didn't get up early as boot was cancelled, I didn't run, I did go to fat club and wasn't good news, I have done no tidying up or other household chores whatsoever...but I did go out for lunch!

Julie unexpectedly called me and said she was free and did I fancy lunch out. Well I just couldn't refuse could I. We went to a new place that has just opened in town called Faces. It's rather nice but let's just say you could come out hungry. If it wasn't that we had olives, bread and humous I think we would have come out and gone and got a sandwich to eat. I had a beetroot and goats cheese salad supposedly a large plate. I doubt I had half a beetroot and two tiny spoons of goats cheese. But I have to say it was very nice inside.

Had a walk and a good catch up. I took this and just love the autumn colours.

We then we went shopping, had more coffee and home. I like days like today...unexpectedly nice.

Off to Pilates tonight.
