Warkworth

I'm back home now and back to work tomorrow. My Big October itinerary is now all done. I'm back in the city.

Despite the lovely landscapes I've seen over these last few days I did like the drive through Sheffield's industrial east end. Kerry kindly dropped me at the repair centre to get my car back. I couldn't drive it for toffee though, chuffin' gears! two weeks without them and I stop using them. Not pretty. It was a good reunion though.

It's also nice to be back where I can get wi-fi without having to search out the one changeable spot it seemed to work in the hotel.

We left after breakfast but did stop briefly at Warkworth for a riverside stroll to check out this view. No more scenic views for a while now but that's ok, it's good to stop gallivanting and be back to normal. I'll be all the more appreciative for the next day out or mini break. I think I'm aiming for acceptance that the holiday is over.
