Room with a view

Finally, it's time again to celebrate a room with a view. There have been a number of good views from my hotel rooms this year, but few will beat this one.

When the alarm went off this morning, I was up and on the balcony taking photographs within five minutes. Just the way to start the day.

Otherwise, yes, the room is excellent as expected. The restaurant and breakfast are a bit ropey, but the facilities in the room - apart from the wifi which tends to the weak - are very good indeed. And what's not to like about the view.
