Bearraich Cliffs

Dull, overcast day with squally showers.

My son and his wife left to return to the mainland on the 5.00pm Ferry. They took my wife and the grandchildren with them to do the 'Grand Tour' of the Island via Tobermory which is the the location for the children's TV programme, 'Balamory'.

My wife will return with the children on the bus from the Ferry port - a great adventure for the children!

Meanwhile, I needed a rest after the exertions of the weekend, so did some reading. The sun made a brief appearance and I took the opportunity to go and take some photographs of the cliffs at the base of Bearraich, a 1400ft mountain. The area is pretty inaccessible and there are sea eagles nesting on the cliffs.
