Deserters!

Having enjoyed several months of wonderful weather on Arran since April through to the past fortnight we have shown no fortitude at all in the face of the very wet and windy forecast for the next week!

Instead of lasting out until RET comes in on the 27th, we scuttled to the pier and splashed the cash to avoid the horrors of tomorrow and the dampness of the week. And cheekily, the sun showed her ankle beneath the cloudy petticoat, just as we were about to embark!

No time at all until we return to start a new season at the cottage and maybe even a couple of sneaky overnighters if there's a calm spell in November or January.
