Tsawwassen

The glow appears above Galiano Island and is the result of the many lights illuminating the staging area(Tsawwassen) of BC Ferries departing for Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. The light in the sky is an aircraft leaving Vancouver Int. Airport for Victoria Airport.

The distance is 30 Km from Saltspring Island but the voyage takes 3 hours. (Life in the slow lane!)
