Improvising

Experimenting with rainwater collection using materials that were just going into the recycling bin anyway (other than the duct tape). The improvised (and not yet very effective) funnel is a plastic 2-liter bottle with the bottom cut off and four slices made along the length of it to create surfaces to catch the rain. I need to find something I can use to make them spread out and lay almost flat, to improve their collection efficiency. Naturally, whatever I use for that must also be something that is going to be discarded anyway.
