Reach for the (blue) sky

And blue it was today as I was walking along Curzon Street in Mayfair running through my Bright Young Things walk. Another new one for the Literary Footprints Festival. Hope the weather will be as good when it goes live this Friday.

The tree is a Liriodendron Tulipifera (the accompanying plaque helpfully informed me.) Presented by the Dorchester Hotel on nearby Park Lane on 14 November 2011. One of 80 trees planted to replenish the great trees of London in celebration of the hotel's 80th anniversary.
