Death

My Aunt Margaret died last week and her funeral is on Tuesday. I blipped about her on 20th Jan, 2014 and I am sending a copy of what I wrote to my cousins. I realise now how little I have thought about the end of life. I used to be quite comfortable that death was final but now I have a yearning to believe in an after-life. How easy it is to be rational when one is young! Amelie is very confused about the whole process. She thinks Grandad is on the moon, in a comfortable bed, with our dead dog 'Indy', drinking wine and eating food 'that dead people eat'. Actually I quite like her vision of eternity!
