Dunnottar Castle

The end of another excellent weekend in Scotland. Today we were at Forvie sand dunes just north of Aberdeen. Apart from a strong wind the weather was bright and clear.

We both enjoyed our runs but did not hang around for long as a long journey home awaited. We had a quick detour for a picnic at Dunnottar Castle just south of Stirling. It was a very popular venue in the sunshine with lots of selfies being taken with the dramatic backdrop.

I have to confess to nodding off on the journey home. Although I did try to dress it up by telling Richard it was a power nap! Glad to be home and will catch up with journals when I have a moment.
