Blanket of Clouds

Today was another busy day. We started off at the gym - where none of the TVs were set to a news channel where I could see what was going on with the tsunami warnings in Hawaii (which were later cancelled). Then home to freshen up and meet with Zoe.

"I'll be about a half hour," I told hubby, because we had plans later and I knew Zoe wasn't planning to be there for much longer. Then, of course, hubby had to call me and let me know that it was almost 6:00 PM and we should be leaving soon.

Of course, I didn't bring the camera, and as we were driving down the hill, I saw the sky clearing and the cloud cover around the Olympics was just so dramatic, I had to do a U-turn to the house, grab the camera and stop for some shots.

Then off to the video store, Macy's to spend my gift certificate from my MIL (so sweet), and Applebees to satisfy my craving for buffalo wings from the past couple of days. :) Yum.

We spent the rest of the evening playing Pinochle with the in-laws where MIL and I managed to lose every game!

And now today is tomorrow. This weekend is flying by.
