Rusty Padlock

Very windy day and quite warm - got loads of washing dry outside! Yawn.

Got to play with my new macro lens again - looking at the padlock, hasp and staple that is on our garden shed - not that there is much in there worth pinching!

I love the different textures of the flaking rust on the padlock and the partially rusted hasp in the background.

In hindsight I wish I had tried a focus stack to get it clearer - maybe future project.

Our dog walk was curtailed as Katie suddenly started limping and licking at her foreleg - no visible damage - and it appears to be ok now. May have got stung or spiked by something.

I did manage to revisit the fungus from a couple of days ago - and it has changed a lot - but it was getting dark and had to use flash which has really overpowerd the natural light
