B148
Last night, my beautiful fiancée spent a while, standing in the garden, drinking wine and watching the aurora borealis giving us a spectacular light show. The tide was in, and the green light was reflecting off the sea. We took a few photographs as we stood watching the show. The aurora really is stunning.
This morning, the stillness of last night had gone, replaced by blustery wind and sporadic showers. I was lucky enough to avoid the rain on the wander up the hill with the woofers.
The weather for the afternoon wander didn't look promising. We all ventured out and despite the weather enjoyed the walk. The dogs tore around chasing sticks and each other as well as rabbits and voles (and a goose). We passed grazing cattle as we wandered and I liked the curly hair on B148, a good candidate for the October word challenge for today, "creature".
Home after the walk and we had a visit from Emmy and Sonja, before HV headed to work and I zoomed off to see the Mumpy and Pawpee.
It has been a good weekend
