Back to the River

The fungi foray we did today was well-attended and very enjoyable. The weather was fine, but very breezy. Mr PB joined us today, and quite a few of the other participants were people I knew so it was quite a sociable affair, and left little time for photography. We drove up in advance of the meeting time and had a short walk along the River Don, along a section which I bypassed on my One River walk, as it doesn't join up with other accessible paths, so it filled in a small gap, and gave me the opportunity to do a long-overdue One River blip. I'm taking a long time to get round to the next section of this walk for a couple of reasons: other commitments like holidays and fungi forays and the fact that the next section is a combination of road walking and very muddy pathways and some of this doesn't even take me near the river. However, once I've done that stretch, I'll be on the very familiar and much loved city centre stretch. Maybe soon….
