Kids playing keepy uppy in the square

Not sure if that's quite how you spell it but anyway you get the drift. The pic is of the square in Sapa in the evening where all the kids play keepy uppy with feather shuttlecocks. They're pretty good at it ... looks difficult.

Today we mainly bumbled around town, chatting to girls and organising ourselves a trekking tour for tomorrow and Friday. We met a lovely woman, Song, this morning from the Black H'Mong tribe. She seemed a lot more laid back than some of the others and just stopped to chat after we told her we weren't buying anything. We both liked her so decided to ask her about trekking ... we found her later, agreed a price and arranged to meet her at 9am tomorrow ... she's so laid back though we hope she actually shows up!

The plan is to trek to a few villages with lunch at the top of a mountain on the way, then back to her house for dinner and to stay overnight. She's married with two kids so we'll be with the whole family. Its not an official homestay, so no facilities but we'll really get to see how she lives. Looking forward to it.
