I Don't Give a Fig

I bought these figs yesterday, not for any medicinal properties, but because they looked ripe and tasty.
They have been a bit of a disappointment. They are bland with not much taste at all, but hey, they have provided me with a blip on a Sunday when the wind doesn't know whether to blow in bringing sunshine or heavy showers.
On the positive side, it is still extremely mild and the rain is warmish.

The Sunday toast and marmalade has been consumed, the soup is on, the papers are still to be read and daughter#1 is going to pay a visit to the Dower House. Bring it on!
