The customary pottering-around kind of morning and then over to Ettrick Bay for lunch at the café on the beach and then a bit of time afterwards on the actual beach itself. Rather cold and windy, and the sea likewise (waded out up to my waist then thought better of it…) Found a decent little woodland walk around Rothesay on the way home that ended up bringing half of us all the way back to the cottage with the sea at our side and the wind on our backs.

A further little solo excursion out just five minutes or so up the road to Ascog Bay for a bit of drawing and seal-spotting. Until the dropping temperature and fading daylight made home seem like A Good Idea.

Determined to crack on with my book tonight, had it on the shelf at home for the last couple of years but never quite got round to picking it up. Hoping for great things.
