Words words words

So many words, spoken, heard and seen at the Britain Needs a Pay Rise march and rally in London today. Numbers, I've heard, were between 70 and 90 thousand people. I thought it was around the 70k mark.

Me and Aidan, the 14 year old son of a friend who came along with me (it was his first demo) took a bit of time out from the march to go visit the Occupy Democracy camp which is at Parliament Square until 26 October. It was interesting, informative, peaceful and seriously over-policed so I took the opportunity to declare loudly that 'This hardworking tax payer strongly objects to her taxes being wasted on unncessary policing".

You can see more of my pics of the march and rally here. And of Occupy Democracy here.
