Playing Well

I missed the last couple of Cardiff City home matches as we were away on holidays, and getting back it was the international break; so it seems like ages since I last watched them.

This was there first match with new manager Russell Slade in charge, and it was against top of the table, Nottingham Forest. One of the lads, Graham, on the boat when we were away was a big Forest fan. I did invite him to sit with us but he had made other arrangements. Cardiff played well and won 2-1. Graham said it was as well he didn't make the trek!

This evening I went to Ynysddu Progressive Club which my sons girlfriend in in charge. Since she's been in charge profits have risen 30% and they've now got a resident motorbike club, 'The Grinning Idiots', who have made their home in the club basement. Tonight, the motorcycle club paid for a local well known band called 'Ninth Gate' to play.
