around the tower of london

After a slow start, I met up with Clare at Euston and then we walked around the tower of London admiring the poppies - what an amazing sight. For all the work that is still going into it, I am surprised that it is to be dismantled after the next armistice day. It was a beautiful day out with the sun shining. The area around the tower was packed.

Clare and I wandered along the Thames and back again. We had lunch at the Hays Galleria - we had to celebrate her 16th wedding anniversary - I had forgotten the date but was there on the wedding day as a bridesmaid in Coventry Cathedral. Great to catch up!

A quiet evening at home to recover from the excitement of dinner with a dinosaur!
