Boiler Man arrived this morning and installed a new radiator in the breakfast room whilst removing one in the kitchen (not both at the same time you understand) and added thermo valves to all the others. Tomorrow he’ll hopefully replace our boiler for a more economic model from the twenty five year old gas guzzler.

This afternoon I cadged a lift from Ann into town so I could see Roz at the Garrick, first time for a fair while what with all her gadding about (and us moving house). We had a good afternoon catching up and quaffing pints of Abbot Ale.

Continuing the autumnal theme I seem to have adapted; note to self: get back to building and chaos pics; this is Ann Hathaway’s Tearoom in Shottery (coffee not recommended).
