A day on the Ffestiniog Railway.

For our last full day we started with visiting the Mary Jones exhibition. This tells the story of a Welsh girl in the 1800's who walked 26 miles after saving for six years to buy a Welsh Bible. The minister was so moved by this that he was inspired to start The Bible Society which would then ensure that Bibles would be available to people in their own language all over the world. We then travelled on the famous Ffestiniog Railway, this is one of the fabulous views we enjoyed.
