The villain
Today at the BCLM there was the event to commemorate the Women Chainmakers' strike around a century ago - it is an annual event now. Although it is MUCH lower profile than it was when it started, it is still worth visiting (unless you are in North Scotland, as unfortunately[?] I was last year). I did use my new UWA Nikon 1 lens while I was there, and I'm happy with the results, but this is my choice for the day, though it really needs a lot more work in PS...
The photo shows the performer who takes on the role of the factory owner, and villain, every year. As always, photography can be quite difficult, as there s so much action, and little opportunity to stage pictures.
Thanks to all at the BCLM, and all the performers, for a wonderful event.
