Langdale Beck

A great week ended with miserable weather but we were not complaining as we had been lucky up until this morning. It must have rained through the night because we woke to a raging Langdale Beck. It is amazing how quickly it had transformed from a gentle shallow flow, although we have seen it change like this before.

It made our mind up for us, we had breakfast and headed home to dry bright warm weather and a lovely sunset.

We said goodbye to this Lodge we love until the same time next year, although we will be back to Langdale for the New Year.
