Slates and pots

Went into Oban this afternoon to do a bit of shopping and to collect various donated goods from shops for our Scottish Wildlife Trust fundraising coffee morning next Saturday; many shops are very generous. If you're in Oban do come along - 10am to 2pm in Glencruitten Church Centre.

Although it began as a lovely sunny afternoon, as always rain was never far away and I had to shelter in a fish and chip shop with a huge sheet of photo mounting card which was trying to blow away. As I happened to have my camera with me I amused myself by taking a few pictures of things on the other side of the road. This one is of the chimneys above Chalmers Corner - the gull was a special request! Another is here - you might like to have a butchers.
