Newcastle 4 - 1 Celtic

I expect this may turn out to have been the best game at St. James' Park when the season is over. There must have been close to 6,000 or 7,000 Celtic fans compared to the normal 2,000 or 3,000 away fans (if I'm right in my estimates) but stepping off the train from Edinburgh didn't feel anywhere near as intimidating as I thought it might have done. Despite the crowds, the police with riot vans and horses and dogs, the singing and the shouting, it all felt quite friendly.
There were 14 arrests after the match but it was too dark to photograph.
