No quick fixes
The cobbled pic I've used shows Waverley at Brodick in Arran. It's the sort of scene that vehicles like DST900 would have been used to. I flung it together as an idea but it's not seriously posed, it just helps me to judge how realistic the model is.
I've been fine tuning the resin body for a couple of days. It has lots of faults as purchased but overall it's a good shape. I've hacked off the awful chunky headlights and air vents, given it flush glazed windows and prototypical dished wheel hubs. The model still needs a bit of work. I'm making new fleet name decals tomorrow and tidying the paintwork then it'll get a few coats of varnish.
