Poster Girl (second time around)

Finally, got off at the right bus stop (not beyond the mountain and not two stops early). I put up my poster as soon as i arrived at the conference area and asked someone to take a mandatory photo of me beside my poster.

I had lunch at La Cascade, a restaurant, 10 mins away from Casa Piedra with Nick. The beef dish i ate was delish! We got back to the conference area only to see that i posted my poster on the wrong board! I had a note beside my poster from the owner of the board. I responded with "sorry!". I immediately looked for my poster board but i could not find 393. The boards end at 392 (the world is conspiring against me!!). I approaced an organizer who cannot also locate 393. They just gave me the board for 392 since no one was using it. I had one customer thereafter for the first poster session. I got a few more customers in the late afternoon. One of them did not understand my explanation at all while the others were looking forward for my to publish my study as they say that it was so refreshing to see something like that amidst all the QM/MM posters in the conference. A professor form the Univ of New Brunswick expressed interest in inviting me and my supervisor for a conference next year March 2015 in Athens, Greece!

I stayed for the conference dinner ( the staff manning the entrance to the dining area could not find my name in the list and had to call someone to confirm that i am indeed part of the conference!) The meal was delicious. We had lemon salmon for starters, Chicken with gravy for the mains and bitter chocolate mousse for desert. I immediately went back to the hostel after the dinner since it was getting late and an hour of travel is needed for me to return.
