Kirkstall Abbey
I was lucky today as it was good & bright and just perfect for blipping; I took loads of shots and spent a very happy couple of hours there. After much indecision I finally settled on this view of the nave as my blip for today.
Kirkstall Abbey is a ruined Cistercian monastery in Kirkstall, Leeds, set on the north bank of the River Aire. It was founded c.1152 and was disestablished during the Dissolution of the Monasteries under Henry VIII.
