Flavor of Jacksonville

Tonight we attended the Flavor of Jacksonville for which my husband's company was the Event Sponsor. This was a very special event to not only raise money for Gateway,but also to bring awareness of this program to the community. Many top restaurants from Jacksonville donated their special dishes for us to taste. After the fourth round of food, I stopped but my hubby had a few more rounds left in him. It was all yumny. The most important part of the evening was hearing the testimonials of several people whose lives were forever changed by the help and care that Gateway gave to them. Until you have a family member or friend or you yourself go through the terrible effects of addiction that can destroy your life,you never realize how much programs like Gateway are a Godsend to your community.

It was a wonderful evening.
