I have a fair idea what Animal Jam is but I'm not curious enough to do a full investigation of what Bethany uses the computer mainly for.

Instead, I thought I'd channel the interest into another form, letting her know what else she can do with what is a pretty good notebook laptop. I showed her what Powerpoint does. I started her doing a presentation something along the lines of the loomband video she started the other month.

She took to it brilliantly, adding step by step instructions, bullet points, images, the lot.
