Little Victories

Overslept thanks to my wonderful alarm clock that turns itself off after 3 snoozes...

Dropped Princess to school then on to work. MrRoly researched washing machines and we ordered a new Miele to be delivered on Monday afternoon.

Home with pasties then out again to abuse the generosity of various friends - 3 loads of washing later and a Princess collected, I got home to see the big 2 off on their Scout Winter Camp in the lashing rain and strong winds :-(

A relatively calm bedtime for the small 2 after bribing them with sleeping in my bed if they stayed upstairs and didn't bother Sam the babysitter.

Then off to Truro to meet up with MrRoly to see Alan Davies and his 'Little Victories' show. Very funny in parts but somehow not quite as good as last time we saw him, can't quite put my finger on it - higher expectations perhaps?

Finally home after dropping Sam home, only to find a mini beauty parlour has gone on in my room - snipped hair on the carpet, with a bit of red lipstick too, powder badly cleaned up with a baby wipe smeared across my mirror, red lipstick and black mascara all over my pillowcase. Lily's face is suspiciously clean - unlike the make up smeared face of her younger brother...
