On the Turn

This Boston Ivy on our wall brings pain and pleasure in equal measure:-) Pain when the spiders and insects use it to crawl into our windows and when the leaves and stalks drop to the ground and make an unsightly mess. Pleasure for the few short weeks it takes to change to the most glorious shade of red. It's not quite there yet and I just hope we don't have gales that blow the leaves off before they've turned completely red. That really would be pain:-)
