The Rookery, Clerkenwell

I've been walking past The Rookery from Farringdon tube up to St Johns St these past few weeks or months, and feeling more and more intrigued by this old building. It is an old fashioned hotel described as 'very James Bond' in reviews and having looked at the photos of the rooms online I really want to stay there now.

Today was much more successful than yesterday: I got to the train station in one piece; I got my free latte having saved up the stamps on my card, got a table seat on the train and the sky was clear and the air was warm when I arrived in London.

All the people in the office I'm working in were very friendly today - definitely a Friday feeling about the place.
