Mega Talented

Taking a bit of a risk posting this... and I should mention first that the two people with their backs to me are merely dressed as locals; I found out at the end, one is from the Levant and the other from Russia.

G went to church in the morning and came home saying she wanted to go to this concert being held in the evening. I reckoned if she thought it was good enough to go back for, then I should tag along, and I am SO GLAD I did! To be entertained by proper musicians playing real melodies beautifully was very special and made me very emotional. I tend to crumble when I come across people who give their best to God. They did excellent renditions of well known hymns and choruses and we finished by standing to sing "How Great Thou Art" which is actually a Swedish hymn!

The musicians are all members of the same family and I *think* it was their father who gave us a 10 minute talk (translated of course) of the work they do wherever they get invited. They surprised us by letting anyone who wanted, have a copy of their CD for FREE! I'm so glad I've been able to see and listen to them. And how convenient super for me that the flowers were pink!

A quiet day catching up with things/getting things done and also getting ready for SweetArt's visit next Friday. She has sent her itinerary and I am exhausted just reading it! AND it is my elder sister's 50th today. I wonder if she had a red balloon. Saw a kid in Lamcy today with pink and red balloons and SO wanted to take a picture but couldn't pluck up the courage to ask her parent if it was OK to.
