Who exactly IS Blip?

I'm not much of a joiner but I appear to have been seduced into hanging around here for quite a while.  

This is a rather wonderful thing.  Much of that is down to the very congenial little village I find myself inhabiting on here.  

So happy birthday to Joe for the inspiration, to all at Blipcentral for the perspiration and to everyone who shares the love when they can.
