Schuylkill County Civil War Roundtable
This picture was taken inside of the Schuylkill County Historical Society. I was invited there to give a talk on the 150th Gettysburg reenactment, and some of the experiences that I had at the event. I was actually surprised at how many people showed up to hear me speak. I had a slideshow presentation to go along with that had around 200 pictures and 3 movies that I had taken at the reenactment. I the center of this picture is my dad with the Chancellorsville t-shirt and to the right is my Uncle Herbie with his red Phillies hat. My mom was behind the camera, so all of my immediate family was in attendance. Originally I was told to speak for 20-30 minutes to leave some time for the other guest speaker, but when I showed up, I was told that he was at the hospital and now had to speak for an hour to an hour and a half. I figured that I would have to go into much more detail to fill up my time but in all reality, I didn’t even scratch the surface of my experiences. I was happy to give them the information, and show them the pictures.
