Ginger The Cart Horse
Ginger the Cart Horse drowned in what was then Albert Dock in Greenock in the late 1800's and the legend says that his owner was distraught on the quayside at the loss of his companion.
Ginger also represents a time when these beautiful heavy horses not only provided transport but also work within the industrial settings and on our river this included within the shipyards... oh how times changed...
I hope you enjoy seeing him again, a beautiful depiction of the work of Andy Scott
