Lower City of Savador da Bahia

The historical section of Salvador is mostly located in the Upper City. A public elevator connects the upper part of town to the lower section, where the harbor is.
This is the view from the terrace where you take the elevator. The fishing port is just below and it shows part of the bay with some of the islands.
As it was towards the end of the afternoon, the lights were particularly attractive.
