Twilight

A long day has been spent wandering the multifarious alleys and snickets of Camden Town's various markets - frequently getting lost - admiring the diversity of wares and the people - eating tasty street food. We visited almost every shoe shop in Camden High Street before Alex settled on his birthday present, and then escaped from the hubbub by walking along the Grand Union Canal towards Regent's Park. We strolled up Primrose Hill and, like many others, watched the spectacle of London's skyline at twilight. I decided not to take my camera, but borrowed Alex's little compact, which did surprisingly well under difficult circumstances. Shattered now - and heading off to bed...
