Mothership has error

Today there was an alarm sounding in work that I eventually tracked down to the plant room which looks like something off Starship Enterprise, and I was told by the builders when we first moved in that I would never need to go in this room (I'm in there at least once a week, every week!)

The alarm was sounding from this blue box, and the difficulty was that I had no idea what it was and therefore which contractor to call to come and fix it. I ended up having to phone one of our previous doctors who is now in Africa to try and work out what it was. Daniel, you are missed but thanks for the help!
