Wish I'd taken the SLR

So far all my blips have been done using the iPhone app. It's handy to have a camera in my pocket but funnily enough the quality just isn't the same as an SLR. I left the lump behind on today's wee walk and regretted it. We tricked the boys into walking up onto the edge of Grange Fell. It was a steep climb up through the wood. D raced up and his big brother followed steadily despite insisting on bringing a large stone he liked in his rucksack - 1.1kg of it :-) on the way back we found a quarried cave to explore too. Another great outing.

The views up Borrowdale were stunning. I love it when you get shafts of sunshine picking out bits of hillside. If only I'd had the SLR.
