A Bed of Rock and Heather

Spotted this solitary nanny goat at her usual place on the pass at Mount Gabriel. her feet aren't in the best of shape and I'm sure she was glad to get her weight off them! She must have been released on the mountain many years ago now and has a rather lonely life up there but it was good to see her enjoying the early morning sunshine.
