Cosmos holding its own

We still have a lot of cosmos flowering in the garden although its days must be numbered now we are getting the full autumn weather.

After work we went out for a meal at the Blue Goose Inn which is almost the nearest place to eat, and had a very enjoyable meal. We were pleasantly surprised as we hadn't been there for several years - after our last visit the place was closed down by the Food Standards people, although we were unscathed. It's also changed its name twice in the interim, from the Tickled Trout to the Dell Inn to the Blue Goose. We will be back, I'm sure.
