A miserable morning.The kind of drizzle,mizzle that soaks you through quicker than proper rain. The hill and in-bye shepherds off to the Blackie tup sale at Lanark,where the managed to buy 3 shearlings. Haven't seen them yet as I'm just home.
This mornings potential buyer for the store cattle seems happy to take them,if I take out 4 heifers he doesn't like . The price is back about 20p/Kilo from last year,but is on a par with this years trade in general.
When doing wee brothers stuff this morning this ewe couldn't help herself-she just had to pose for the camera. There would have been a great shot of a lamb shaking all the rain off its self ,but of course I couldn't get the i pod camera switched on in time !
