Up at 6 this morning (unheard of for me these days) to get into Oxford for an 8.30 appointment at the Churchill's Pain clinic. Looks like the next few months are going to be busy with medical stuff.
Being out and about that early was quite invigorating, particularly with the gorgeous sunshine of this morning. Back home Kit and Izzy were just stirring, they didn't seem to want to go anywhere again today, so I left them to it. Felt myself sliding into torpor this afternoon so I went for a short walk. Through the impossibly green, decaying, damp tree line at the edge of our street and out into the space beyond, the fields just harvested now scraped and readied for the next cycle of growth.
