We enjoyed evening of homemade Indian food and scotch, reminiscent of an evening in Syracuse not long ago.

In that vein, I made strange-looking (but tasty) samosas from scratch for the first time, to accompany lentil soup. It was nice to have a meal go well after two diner disasters last week.

Two friends got into town tonight. They're here to scout out the university.
